I came upon these two bucks swinging to the sound of my Jeep thumping I think. A backcountry square dance so to speak…
They were all about who was boss at that moment and I was lucky enough to catch it. This is the only time I’ve ever seen this behavior in White Tail deer and I’m with them all the time. I got a pretty good sequence of photos of this but this is the second where I had two deer on two feet between them.
They did this for about 30 seconds by my time warped memory and photographic timeline. I just happened to have a 1200mm lens handy all set up for wildlife out the window of my Jeep Grand Cherokee.
