I was passenger in a car shooting through a tinted window (corrected for mostly) going 70 on the highway leading by Dry Fork Power Station located on site of a rather large coal seam in the Powder River Basin.

Wyoming coal is current producing 30 percent of the electricity used by this nation.

It’s very rare for me to be a car passenger. I got a lot of photos’ on this 130 mile round trip from my ranch to Gillette and back.. I haven’t even approached the group yet to finish. I’ve been wanting to shoot some of this stuff for years…
