This was a Purple and Crimson Sunrise from this week from up High on the RIdges of the borderlands of Montana and Wyoming.
This is very remote backcountry m iles off road. A full 20 minutes before sunrise, this twilight light show was electric purple and crimson until sunrise when a cloud 100 miles from here shut it all down by getting in the way of all that gorgeous light.
Sunrise was a bust but twilight was spectacular that morning.
